Accolades from counselors, volunteers, parents, and students:
“…We are thankful and very appreciative of the You Wear it Well Program.
Graduation is very expensive and we have several students who are unable to afford this once in a lifetime opportunity. The program provides graduation attire for our students in need, and a boutique day where students are serviced from head to toe, providing an extraordinary experience.
Last year we had 12 students who went through the program, and every single student was extremely grateful and overjoyed with their experience.
Personally, it was so heartwarming to see these students on graduation day. They were beaming with delight and felt beautiful. In addition, my interactions with the You Wear it Well staff have been very positive and professional. They work to meet students’ individual needs and go over and above to create a memorable graduation experience. We fully support this program…”

“Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to take part in such a great cause. Looking forward to next year!”
-Sol G., volunteer at Boutique Day 2020
“When our students graduate from high school it is a huge event: sometimes they are the first in their families to graduate. The students’ families are very excited but that doesn’t change their financial circumstances. When You Wear it Well steps in to help our graduates they provide the next closest thing to a fairytale celebration imaginable.
The students who are selected (by need) attend a boutique day where they are treated like princes and princesses. They receive gowns or suits, make up and or grooming tips, hair styling, shoes and accessories, goodies and professional portraits. It is amazing to see the recipients after Boutique Day and at grad: their confidence is heartwarming, their pride exciting and their delight infectious.
You Wear it Well is a wonderful organization. Their members make what is a special day so much more meaningful and lasting. These hardworking kind people make the lives of our students brighter and for that I am as are the rest of the staff of Guildford Learning Center truly grateful.”

“Thank you. It was a pleasure to volunteer at such a well-organized and inspiring event. Kudos to the five of you for your very hard work and skilled planning all year long, culminating in what appeared to be a very successful and happy day for all involved. I hope you, like Santa Claus, can put your feet up and have a good break before ducking back in to the workshop.”
